No-Sew Tie Blanket: Step-by-Step

The no-sew tie blanket is one of the easiest and most rewarding fabric projects. No sewing machine, no thread, no experience needed - just fabric and scissors.

Cut two fleece pieces to the same size (typically 1.5-2 yards each, 60" wide).
Layer pieces with wrong sides together, edges aligned.
Cut a 4"x4" square from each corner (through both layers) and discard.
Cut fringe strips around all four edges - 1 inch wide, 4-5 inches deep, through both layers.
Tie each pair of strips together in a double knot. Pull snug but don't over-tighten.
